Dynamic Racing Portalegre Results
The Dynamic Racing European tour has come to end (for now), and the team is currently back in North America preparing for the Baja 1000, which is less than a month away. The results of the Baja Portalegre are still fresh in the memories of lead driver Christine GZ and co-driver Manuel Navarro who finished 21st overall in canam class.
The second day of the event threw multiple osculates at the Dynamic team including two punctures, and losing radio communication for over 120 kms. What the team takes away from this experience is not what position we finished, but who finished behind us. Christine GZ was the first female driver to cross the finish line coming ahead of Jutta Kleinschmidt, who is the only woman (currently) to win at Dakar.
Dynamic Racing finished ahead of serious competitors like bi-champion of Portugal Pedro Grancha, and 7 time champion of Portugal Migual Barbosa. This is not a jab at these great drivers, but a clear sign of reassurance that what we do as a team is working. That progress is being made, and that Christine GZ has undoubtedly the natural gift as a driver to be a multi-champion in her career.
We’re extremely proud of our lead driver Christine, and can’t wait to be her racing backbone of support at the Baja 1000 on November 16th.
