On the road to Dakar Christine GZ will be making her first stop in North America for the 2019 Mint 400.
Dynamic Racing will be leaving their LA headquarters to the city in the desert to kick-off Mint 400 week in Las Vegas on March 6th. This event gives Fremont Street a lift-kit and turns the ionic street into Mint 400 Boulevard. Off-road racers, teams, vendors, and fans, invade sin city to take part in The Great American Off-Road Race.
Find us on Fremont Street during the week and say hello to Christine GZ and the rest of the Dynamic Racing Team who will be running two cars at this year’s Mint 400. Christine GZ will be racing in the UTV Turbo class with co-driver Kyle Knott in car #T906. Second car will be driven by Paul Kraus with co-driver Jason Farrel in car #2916 competing in the UTV Unlimited class.
Scrolling through the grid line-up you’ll see everything from Baja trucks to VW Dune Buggies and every vehicle that features the word “terrain” in its acronym. Christine is back this year with new sponsors Maxxis Tires and Vision Wheels supporting her where the rubber meets the road (literally). Our Dynamic Canam X3’s will be race ready thanks to support provided by Maglock USA, Factory UTV, Weddle Racing Gears and Baja Designs.
On an important side note, this year’s Mint 400 will also see the return of motorcycles for the first time since 1976. Moto racers will race on an 82 mile course with several classes in Pro, Expert, and Amateur levels. These classes include father & son/daughter teams, and vintage bikes (1990-older), Women’s Exp/AM, Dual Sport, and Ironman motorcycles.
The Mint 400 is the only off-road race associated with a psychedelic ride that two men, a journalist and a lawyer, were willing to buy the ticket for in “this foul year of our lord nineteen-hundred and seventy one”. Adrenaline, speed, dirt, and a bit of fear and loathing all set the stage for the 2019 Mint 400 Saturday morning March 9th.
